Krisumi to invest ₹4,500 crore more in Gurugram luxury housing project over next 6–7 years

Krisumi Corporation Ltd, a joint venture between Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation and India’s Krishna Group, is set to invest an additional ₹4,500 crore in its premium residential project in Gurugram over the next six to seven years, as it looks to expand its presence in India’s luxury housing segment.

The planned investment will go into the ongoing development of ‘Krisumi City’, a 33.5-acre integrated township located along the Dwarka Expressway, one of the fastest-growing real estate corridors in the National Capital Region.

Krisumi marks Sumitomo Corporation’s foray into the Indian real estate market, which it entered in 2018 through a partnership with Krishna Group, a leading domestic auto component maker. The joint venture is equally owned by both partners.

The additional capital commitment comes amid sustained demand for premium and luxury housing in Gurugram, with developers stepping up investments to tap into rising homebuyer interest and improved infrastructure connectivity, particularly along the Dwarka Expressway stretch
